The first verse I just play the chords once
so it's: Cadd9 D Dsus4 G and so on.
but when I go from D to Dsus4 i only hit the high e string.
the second verse is almost the same but at the G chord I do this:

And then I start strumming for the rest of the song
the strumming pattern, I don't know exactly how I play it, but I think it's something like:
" down down up up down up up down up up down up "
for the strumming you should just listen to the song and
play what you think sounds the best :)
This is a very simple way to play it and maybe it's not the best, but it sounds pretty good .
