ARTIST: Staind - Aaron Lewis
SONG TITLE: Fill Me Up (Acoustic)
ALBUM: 14 Shades of Gray
07
TABBED BY: Tim Knight
Semi-simple song with easy chord progressions and strumming pattern with the classic
Lewis style of dropped 1/2 step tuning when playing acoustic. Lot's of hammers in this
song. The best version I have seen this song played acoustically is when he was on his
tour at the Mohegan (see the video on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ci5-IXP4RU0)
The only hard part is singing the song along with the chords because of the changes in
pitch, and the last part of each verse switching the Cadd9 with the Gsus2.

-[VERSE 1]-
I just had to let you know
cause I don't always let it show
you give me needed room to grow
and I just had to tell you so
-[CHORUS]-
You fill me up, you're in my veins
A look could take my breath away
And all these things, you give away
Sometimes I take for granted
-[VERSE 2]-
It's just like poetry inside
To hear you breathing by my side
Like I’m in heaven and I’ve died
So glad you're with me for this ride
-[VERSE 3]-
I see your face to start my day
Makes all my bad dreams go away
And all the stupid games we play
Wouldn't have it any other way
