Everything Else Disappears – Sister Hazel (transcribed by Craig)

Standard Tuning- Capo 2
A couple notes- there’s obviously a lot of hammering and pulling going on in the song,
you can tell in the acoustic video. I’ll try to show an example here- you can play
with it and have some fun. This is actually my first try at transcribing a song, so let me know how I did.

Remember to breathe, remember to hold your head high
Remember to smile some and just listen a while
I practiced enough, yeah, and that’s what I told myself
So I nervously asked you your name and that’s when the world seemed to stop
And I died when you looked up like that
Took my breath away
Knocked me flat on my back
In that one second stare
I knew right then and there, it’d be a while
Everything falls out of focus
You walk through the door
The one thing that’s clear to me
I’m helplessly hopeless
I’m all right with that
In a room full of people
Everything Else Disappears
Everything Else Disappears
We talked for hours about the sun and the moon
How he chases her around and around, he’s just trying to light up her face
We sat on our cars Borrowed the light from the stars poked holes in the sky
You told me the tales of your heart and how it’d been broken
And I died when you talked about that
Oh what I would have given
To take it all back for you
Right then and there
In that one second stare I knew it would be a while
Everything falls out of focus
You walk through the door
The one thing that’s clear to me
I’m helplessly hopeless
I’m all right with that
In a room full of people
Everyone Else Disappears
Everything Else
I felt like I’d known you forever
I felt like I finally come home
And after all of these lifetimes
You still take my breath away
Everything falls out of focus
You walk through the door
The one thing that’s clear to me
I’m helplessly hopeless
I’m all right with that
In a room full of people
Everything Else Disappears
Everyone Else Disappears
Everything Else Disappears
