Pixies
In Heaven (the lady in the radiator song)
Tabbed by ѓranz
This tab attempts to sum up the live version played in the recent reunion tour. In
I used the version played at the Rock En Seine 2005 gig (widely available on the
youtube).
I’m quite confident that the bass/chords (which I guess is what really matters) are 100% correct.
And, yes, Kim Deal is the most gorgeous woman in indie rock EVER.

Repeat all of this four times, one time without lyrics and then thrice with lyrics (the
time, live, is when rhythm guitar enters).
At the very end, during the last “In Heaven everything is fine” simply play one note per
and end on D (either 0 or 12):
G|------------------------------|------------------------------|------|
D|------------------------------|------------------------------|------|
A|-2----------------------------|------------------------------|------|
D|------------------------------|-2---------------5------------|-0----|
+++ GUITAR +++
e|--------7~--------------------|------------------------------|
B|------7~----------------------|------------------------------| strum slowly
G|----7~---------let-ring-------|------------------------------| repeat twice
D|—9~---------------------------|------------------------------|
A|------------------------------|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|------------------------------|
At the third time, you might want to add a D note on the e string
e|--------10~-------------------|------------------------------|
B|------7~----------------------|------------------------------|
G|----7~---------let-ring-------|------------------------------|
D|—9~---------------------------|------------------------------|
A|------------------------------|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|------------------------------|
Then play some notes adlib like this for the last 4 bars of the chord progression
e|--------12--------12----------|-----------12---------12------|
B|-15--15------15---------------|--15---15---------15----------|
G|---------------------------14-|------------------------------|
D|------------------------------|------------------------------|
A|------------------------------|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|------------------------------|
For the other verses, you might want to add more notes like
e|------------------------------|------------------------------|
B|---7------------7-------------|--8------------8--------------|
G|------7------------7----------|-----9------------7-----------|
D|---------9------------9-------|--------9------------9--------|
A|------------------------------|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|------------------------------|
Or improvise any arpeggio on those Bm, Em and G chords.
