(original would be capo 5--see notes at bottom)
Verse 1:
It's always been a mystery to me
How two hearts can come together
And Love can last forever
But now that I have found you
I believe
That a miracle has come
when God sends a perfect one
Now gone are all my questions about why
And I've never been so sure of anything
in my life
Chorus 1:
Oh I wonder what God was thinking
When he created you
I wonder if he knew everything I would need
Because he made all my dreams come true
When God made you
he must have been thinking
G (Dsus4 D)
about me
Verse 2:
(Raise Key)
I promise that whereever you may go
Where ever life may lead you
with all my heart I'll be there to
And from this moment on
I want you to know
I'll let nothing come between us
And I will love the ones you love
Now gone are all my questions about why
And I've never been so sure of anything
in my life
Chorus 2:
Oh I wonder what God was thinking
When he created you
/E
I wonder if he knew everything I would need
Because he made all my dreams come true
When God made you
he must have been thinking
about me
Bridge:
He made the sun, He made the moon
to harmonize in perfect tune
One can’t move with out the other
they just have to be together
and that is why I know it's true
You're for me and I'm for you
Because my world just can't be right
without you in my life
Chorus 3:
Oh I wonder what God was thinking
When he created you
/E
I wonder if he knew everything I would need
Because he made all my dreams come true
(Raise Key)
He must have heard
every prayer I'd been praying
Because He Knew everything I would need
When God made you
When dreams come true
When God made you
he must have been thinking
about me

* '/E' after the 'F#m' means 'F#m/E' such as relative to capo:

This is for all you people out there who agree to play this at a wedding because you
say no to the bride-to-be.
I understand.
I also understand that this song can climb really high vocally when played in the
key.
So, here is an "easy to play" version with fairly standard chords.
If you want to play with the recording, stick the capo on the 5th fret and that should
you there.
If it's too high vocally, just move the capo down or take it off.
There are a few short-cuts (such as going into the first key change), these are there to
it simpler without being too noticeable.
Hope it helps somebody out there.
