I've been trying to find a tab for this song everywhere but haven't found the right one.
Instead I decided to mess around on my guitar a bit and try to find the right chords by ear.
Here is what I came up with. (Note that this may or may not be 100% correct.)
Feel free to leave comments/suggestions below.
[Updated - 5/9/11: Minor Fixes]
[Updated - 5/14/11: New Ending]

Strumming:
It is easier to pick up the strumming pattern by listening to the song while playing.
Chords:
G* C Dsus4 Em*
e|--3--|--3--|--3--|--3--|
B|-----|--1--|--3--|-----|
G|-----|-----|--2--|-----|
D|-----|--2--|-----|--2--|
A|--2--|--3--|-----|--2--|
E|--3--|-----|-----|-----|
*When playing these chords do not place a finger on the second fret of the B string
Intro:
It seems the more we talk
The less I have to say
Let's put our differences aside
I wanted to make you proud
But I just got in your way
I've found a place that I can hide
Now everything is changing
But I still feel the same
We're running out of time
What do I have to do?
To try to make you see?
That this is who I am
And it's all that I can be?
I tried to find myself
Looking inside your eyes
You're all that I wanted to be
There must be something else
Behind all the lies
That you wanted me to believe
Now everyone is saying
That I should find a way
To leave it all behind
What do I have to do?
To try to make you see?
That this is who I am
And it's all that I can be?
What do I have to do?
To try to make you see?
Trying to be like you
Isn't good enough for me.
I won't let you go
I won't let you down
I won't give you up
Don't you give up on me now
What do I have to do?
To try to make you see?
That this is who I am
And it's all that I can be?
What do I have to do?
To try to make you see?
Trying to be like you
Isn't good enough for me.
[For the rest of the song after the lyrics have finished, you play
the chords G, Dsus4, C, and G just like in the chorus over and over
agian. Then when you want to end the song you play G, Dsus4, C, G,
and one last strum of the G chord.]
