Hey guys, I always says guys, don't I? ;)
So I just heard this song on Greg's latest post "I get by with a little help from my friends"
and I thought that a awesome song as this should be tabbed so here it is.
You'll notice that Greg's capo is on the 5th fret in the video below but
that's just because he's tuned a half step down on that live performance.
Since I'm not sure about all chords names I advise you to look
at the link above if you find anything weird. But if you've played Greg's songs before
hear that its pretty much his regular chords.
One more thing about the chords, after the C/G he almost every time releases
the D-string to open (to a Gsus4), I guess that you could figure out how so i did'nt
it out.
The Gadd11 chord looks like this:
E-x
E-3 (To play Gadd11/G# just play 4 here)
Song Title: Bad Dream (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dx4PzFZqX2U)
Capo: 4th fret (Standard Tuning)
Intro: C/G (Gsus4) C/G (Gsus4)
I've been watching the people, saying their goodbyes
I can see them trying to hold it together, as their family cries
Visual marks on the skyline, as the chaos enfolds
Never know what to do with myself, but it usually shows
So how will I fly without you, without you tonight?
And how will you sleep, if I'm not by your side?
And I wanna know, if you'll pick up your phone when you have a bad dream
Seeing all of these faces, makes the world seem so small
when I've got money we will see all these places, we will have it all
I will take you to Paris, and I will take you to Rome
I will take you wherever you want just as soon as I get home
So how will I fly without you, without you tonight?
And how will you sleep, if I'm not by your side?
And I wanna know, if you'll pick up your phone when you have a bad dream
F Am7 Gadd11 x3 (as he repeats "If you have a bad dream")
You can call me
So how will I fly without you, without you tonight?
And how will you sleep, if I'm not by your side?
So how will I fly without you, without you tonight?
And how will you sleep, if I'm not by your side?
F Am7 Gadd11 x3 (as he repeats "If you have a bad dream")
You can call me
Ending: C/G (Gsus4)
