Ever since I saw Brooke playing this live and noticed that she was playing it
differently to what I had learned it bothered me, and one day (I can't remember
how, I think I was just browsing Youtube) I found this video of a guy who showed
how to play it like she does. The E used (I looked this up to check the actual
name of the chords) isn't the same as the one I found which was pretty much an Em
with the e, B and G strings blocked, and technically it is just another way of
playing E as it uses the same notes, but it's played like a power chord would
usually be played. I wasn't sure about the G#5 or the F#5 so I just wrote them as
fifths since power chords seem to have a habit of that.
So here it is, Hosanna in power chords. Thanks to Jon Fletcher (who I learned it from) :]

Intro: x2
[Verse one:]
I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes
I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing
[Chorus:]
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
[Verse two:]
I see a generation
Rising up to take the place
With selfless faith, with selfless faith
I see a new revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees, we're on our knees
[Chorus:]
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
[Bridge:]
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity
[Chorus:]
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna in the highest
