This is exactly how he plays it. I learned it from his youtube lesson and with the help
of his original version I put it all together in this tab.
In the song you'll notice he does a hammer-on and pull-off in between each verse and
chorus (and the intro). He's doing it on the D string and with the capo on the second fret
he basically does 0h2 and then 2p0 while he's playing a D chord (you'll want to listen
to the song to get the timing exactly right). Below the song I have the chords tabbed out,
and you'll notice that the hammer-on and pull-off is basically switching between his D
and A Chord.

I don't like to do a whole lot of tunings other than standard because I don't like
having to retune my guitar for each song. So I figured out how to play like he plays in
standard, and the tab for that is below. It's easier to play it in DADGAD like he does,
but it's not so bad in standard either. Make sure you take off the capo though if you
play the
song in standard.
